It looks like the UK version of the Aspire One Happy will be able to dual boot Google Android 2.1 and Windows 7. It is not clear whether the versions available in other parts of Europe also have this dual boot feature. Meanwhile, word is that Acer plans to offer Android on all of its upcoming notebooks with dual core Atom processors.
The Aspire One Happy is available with your choice of a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 single core processor or a 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor. The netbook has a 10.1 inch display, up to 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. Other specifications include WiFi, Bluetooth and optional 3G.
The Aspire One Happy will be available with purple, pink, lime green or light blue lids. In fact, these colorful lids are the most distinguishing feature of these laptops.
