Acer has unveiled a new dual boot netbook called the Aspire One AOD255. It can run both Windows 7 and Google Android. The mini-laptop ships with special software called Acer Configuration manager which will allow you to determine which operating system you want to load.
Like other netbooks from Acer, the Aspire One D255 also has 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive for storage, and a 10.1 inch display. It is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and ships with either a 3-cell or a 6-cell battery. According to a Computer World report, the final price of the tablet with a 3-cell battery will be closer to $375. Still no word on when this netbook will be available outside of Taiwan.
Incidentally, the Aspire One D255 isn't the first dual boot netbook from Acer. The company briefly sold another mini-laptop called Aspire One D250 with both Windows and Android.
